Today I was looking for a replacement to my Swurl web site that unfortunately is no more (seeTechCrunch for more info). I really liked how Swurl aggregated posts from many of the
social web sites that I used and put them all together in a chronological format. In looking for a replacement, I tried several different sites (profilactic.com, lifestream.fm and chi.mp) with luke warm feelings about making any of
these sites my new web site for the world to see. In searching through Google, I found Lifestream Blog, which has a list of Lifestream creation
web sites and scripts. I looked at preview after preview and finally settled on storytlr.com.
It was thanks to the list's author, Mark Krynsky, and his storytlr page that brought me to my decision. I really liked the layout and the way that the sites were combined into one "stream" of entries separated by date. Storytlr is still a work in progress, but it does what I want for now and can only improve (I hope) over time. You can check out my storytlr site at www.cruzical.com.
